| No surprises for coach Norman |

 By Jack Biantan ILOILO CITY - RP football team coach Norman Fegidero pulled no surprises as he named his first 11, four hours before their match against Brunei at the Iloilo city sports complex. He then describes his team as strong and almost complete. His only worry is the rain that has kept Iloilo city and the rest of the Visayas islands wet since this morning. Kickoff time is at 3 pm. while Tajikistan and Bhutan will play at the Barotac Nuevo field some 30 kms away from Iloilo city proper, also at the same time. Leading in front for the Azkals are two formidle Filipino-British strike forces Chad Gould and Phil Younghusband. Phil has been the leading scorer for the Azkals in the past tournaments since he played of RP in the 2005 South East Asian Games. Gould however, has been the top scorer for the Azkals in their tune-up games in San Carlos city, Dumaguete city and Cebu city. At the back, the Azkals have big and mobile players led by the ever reliable Ali Borromeo, and Jason Cordoba at the center while Jobel Bermejo and Anton del Rosario man the outside flanks. Skipper Chieffy Caligdong leads the the midfielders. He will get help from Arnie Pasinabo Chris Greatwich and Robert Canedo. Subs: Ian Araneta, Ruben Doctora, Phil Greatwich, Peter Jaugan, Ricardo Bicete, Joven Bedic, Floriano Pasilan, Jame Younghusband, Edward Sacapano, Lester Sobremesina, Arman del Rosario and Lemuel Unabia.
